THE FIRENZE FLOOD PROJECT
This innovative website project is a synthesis of artistic interpretation, three-dimensional animation, original music, historical interpretation, and poignant documentation of the preservation and restoration of Santa Croce Church and its artistic treasures in Florence, Italy after the devastating 1966 flood. The project was created by Arizona Global Arts, a research team of faculty and students in the Herberger College of the Arts and College of Design at Arizona State University. Ellen Murray directs this research group.
